Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
Yes! Individuals who have graduated from the College of Charleston may be granted entry to Addlestone Library and given access to our affiliate computers after obtaining an Alumni Library Access Card. There are two options for obtaining an Alumni Library Access Card:
1. Email library@cofc.edu with your first and last name (and maiden name if applicable) and the year you graduated. A confirmation email will be sent by Access & Instruction Desk staff once alumni status has been verified.
2. Visit the Rivers Green Access & Instruction Desk at the entrance of Addlestone Library during regular hours. Staff at the desk will verify alumni status and issue an Alumni Library Access Card.
Please Note: Alumni access does not include checking out library materials. Alumni and members of the public wishing to check out library materials should consider joining the Friends of the Library.
