Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
Friends of the Library (FOL) members can access any of our databases in Addlestone Library computer lab. As CofC affiliate users, FOL members may use one of the designated affiliate computers during hours that Addlestone Library is open to the general public. Affiliates must visit the Access & Instruction Desk each semester to have their credentials verified and have their barcodes registered with the PC Reservation system for affiliate computers. Once the affiliate is registered for the semester, the system is self-service.
Please note: Due to licensing agreements with database vendors, the Friends are unable to offer remote access to digital resources. Most resources are available on-campus in Addlestone Library only. Some licensing agreements do not permit on-campus guest access. For more information, please visit the FOL website.
