If you are having trouble logging into Kanopy, please check the following:

1. Make sure you are accessing Kanopy through the CofC Libraries ( and not directly through a search engine or 

2. Authenticate your access through the CofC Libraries' Kanopy link using your MyCharleston credentials. 

3. Make sure you are not already logged into Kanopy with the CofC Libraries' subscription. If you are the Kanopy LOG IN button still displays. To check if you are already logged in, click the Kanopy LOG IN button a the top-right your browser.

If you see College of Charleston in the Banner on the next page, you are already logged in and can view content.

4. If you still cannot access content, ensure you can successfully log in to MyChalreston. If you cannot, contact IT Support Services to reset your password. If you can, try logging into CofC Libraries' Kanopy using an incognito browser session. If none of the above works, see more detailed steps on our Streaming Media guide or reach out to us at
