Student, faculty, and staff members are allocated 300 pages free black and white printing three times a year (fall, spring, and summer). The free pages show up as a $15.00 print credit when you log into a print release station in Addlestone Library. To use your free prints, you must print from a lab computer in Addlestone Library or use CampusWide Printing to send a print job from your computer to an Addlestone lab printer.
After this allocation is used, further pages are $0.05 each, payable only through your Cougar Card.
Color printing is available at a cost of $0.35 per page, payable in cash or through your Cougar Card.
Once you have used all of your free prints, printing requires that your Cougar Card information is entered into the print management system. You do this by using the Cougar Card Self Registration Station located at the information desk in the library. Simply swipe your cougar card, then when prompted enter your MyCharleston credentials to associate your cougar card with your printing account. Once you have completed this process, any further printing will automatically be subtracted from your cougar cash.
If you do not have any cougar cash on your card, you can add this by visiting http://cougarcard.cofc.edu/student-cougar-cash/ or you can add money to your cougar cash account from the vending station in the Addlestone Library (cash only) or lastly by using ebill within MyCharleston. (Deposits made via ebill take two hours to process.)
