Any current College of Charleston student who present a valid Cougar Card at the Circulation Desk can reserve a study room as long as he/she has:
- no overdue books,
- no fines over $3.00,
- and at least three people in his/her group.
Reservations are for two hours and may be renewed unless it is during exams or other periods of high demand. Reservations are limited to one per day, three per week and can be reserved up to 14 days in advance.

All of the study rooms are unlocked and are available on a first come, first serve basis to College of Charleston students. These rooms are for course-related, library purposes only; they are not available for clubs, recreation, regularly scheduled meetings, or campus departmental business with faculty for office hours. Groups are allowed to go into the rooms without a reservation, but must leave when a group comes with valid proof of a reservation.
If you use a study room, please remember to be respectful of the building and of other people in the library. Inappropriate behavior in the study rooms is not allowed and will result in the intervention of a public safety official. Food, uncovered drinks, excessive cell phone use, and unreasonable noise are not allowed in the group study rooms.
