The College of Charleston archive, officially known as Special Collections, is located on the 3rd floor of Addlestone Library. A map of the 3rd floor is linked below. Special Collections holds approximately 50,000 rare books and pamphlets. The collection is very strong in 18th and 19th century natural history and social philosophy texts, Charleston imprints, Civil War imprints, Charleston and South Carolina history, and travel literature.

Special Collections is normally open Monday-Friday from 9 am until 5 pm.
