Addlestone Library is open to the College of Charleston community and affiliates via card access. Visitors may access Addlestone Library Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and must present a government issued ID and sign in upon entry.
Alumni are welcome to use Addlestone Library during our regular hours. For entrance to Addlestone, please contact the Access & Instruction Desk to request an Alumni Access Card.
Database Access: Alumni may access most databases within Addlestone Library. Database licensing agreements do not permit off-campus alumni access. Some database licensing agreements do not permit on-campus alumni/guest access.
Borrowing Privileges: Alumni may receive book borrowing privileges by joining the Friends of the Library at the Access & Instruction Desk. Lifetime Alumni receive complimentary Friends of the Library cards by presenting their Lifetime Alumni cards at the A&I Desk. Alternatively, alumni near and far may request books through interlibrary loan at their local public library.
